Hello, Families’ and Welcome to Appletree Daycare #1!
My career in childcare began as a teen, babysitting for several families. While attending Shaw University, I began working at Appletree Daycare #3 in 2008. During this time, I moved from the classroom to the front office. While there have been other childcare centers throughout my career, Appletree has always been my childcare home.
In 2012, I earned my Bachelors of Arts Degree in English from Shaw University. In 2019, I earned my North Carolina Early Childhood Administrative Credentials Level 3 at Wake Technical Community College.
I am married to my college sweetheart and we will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary in April 2021. Not only are we the proud parents of a very curious and talkative toddler; we both share a passion for educating and being a role model for children.
I am honored to be the Director of a great center! We look forward to meeting new families and having the opportunity to nurture, care and educate the young minds of tomorrow. I look forward to seeing you soon. My door is always open!

Appletree #1 Clarendon Crescent
Clarendon Crescent is the first of the Appletree Day Care, Inc. facilities, and has been serving families of the community for over 27 years. It stands as a smaller ratio center, engaging in primarily Infant to Toddler Programs. With a focus on the earliest years of childhood, Appletree #1 can direct its attention to even the smallest needs of the developing child in a loving and nurturing environment. Although Appletree #1 caters to Infancy – young 3’s you can be rest assured that we are committed to the whole development of the child by working side by side with Appletree #2, another smaller facility focusing on Pre-K to School-Age (ages 3-12) care.
