My name is Angela Bell, I’m the Director at Appletree Day Care #2. I Currently have over twenty years of experience in childcare and management. I earned a college degree in Early Childhood Education. I truly believe that every child is special in his and/or her own way. I have dedicated my life to serving children in Wake County and all of those that come through the door at Appletree Day Care!!!

New Bern Ave, our second location, has been caring for children and families for over 23 years. Even as a smaller center the facility is surrounded by beautiful grounds, providing large open spaces for children to explore their surroundings while being immersed in an engaging and nurturing environment. With smaller center numbers, our teachers and staff can better direct their attention to the needs of the child. This can be especially beneficial to our children whose families may desire more individualized care. This can be a great advantage for children by ensuring not only great success in elementary school, but all the years of education to come. It is our goal that children enrolled at Appletree #2, not only stand ahead from other childcare institutions, but gain all the tools and practices needed to be leaders in life.
Appletree #2’s School-age program
Our center has an excellent School-age Program. It provides an enriching and educationally based curriculum, serving the needs of the children while they are both in and out of school. They engage in many learning activities and educational fieldtrips, forming bonds with their peers and teachers alike. We have a Summer Camp program as well as before/after and teacher work day and holiday care.
Appletree provides transportation to Powell Elementary and Conn Magnet Elementary School. And has arranged a bus drop off from Torchlight Academy. If your child attends another nearby school please contact us and we will do everything in our power to arrange their transportation needs or suggest one of our other nearby locations that can.
